Helping Hands massage was founded in 2005 by Mary Watson and Andre Jones, two experienced masseuses that shared a vision of creating a massage experience that would heal body, mind, and spirit.
Mary Watson
Mary has been a massage therapist for nearly ten years. She graduated the Northern Anystate School of Massage. This intensive program demands over 400 hours of hands on practice before a license is granted. Mary has continued her education by studying physiology at Northern Anystate University.
Mary is a proud member of the Western Region of the Massage Therapists Association, is certified by the Anystate Massage Board, and has received honors for her work with rehabilitating seniors with orthopedic conditions.
Mary enjoys scuba diving in her spare time. She is a National Scuba Association certified diver.
Andre Jones
Mr. Jones has been studying pain and mobility in athletes following injury and rehabilitation for more than ten years. Mr. Jones earned a Masters degree in exercise physiology from Western Anystate University in 1999. He then graduated from Anytown Institute of Chiropractic in 2002.
From 2002 to 2007, Mr. Jones served as a consultant and staff masseuse for Southern Anystate University's athletic department. He founded Helping Hands with Mary Watson in 2005 because he wanted to further develop the mental and spiritual massage skills to enhance his ability to heal.
Mr. Jones is a proud member of the Western Region of the Massage Therapists Association, is certified by the Anystate Massage Board, and has authored over 50 papers on the power of touch in healing sports injuries.
In his spare time, Mr. Jones enjoys cooking, hiking, and spending time with his children Mandy and Robert.
